BSD STRATEGIC PLAN - MAY 2025

The most recent BSD Master Plan for the future planning of our facilities was completed in 2016. As part of our long-term forecasting, and as a stipulation for participation in the new Prop. 2 State School Facilities Program (state grants), the District needs to have a Master Plan that has been updated within the past 5 years.

The District is beginning this planning, included required document gathering, and will be engaging the Burlingame Community this Fall with a series of community meetings and opportunities to comment. These will include:
  • Site Meetings at each School: everyone will be welcome at these evening meetings
  • Student Meetings: Leadership groups
  • Interviews with District Departmental Leaders: Special Education, Education Services, Health Services, Human Resources, Technology Services, etc.
  • Online Community Survey
  • Board of Trustee Work Sessions
The Question we, the Community, are asking ourselves is... How should our School Facilities be improved, altered or replaced in order to best serve the long-term needs of the District and its students?
