Digital Citizenship Information and Resources
The Burlingame School District is dedicated to protecting students, teachers, and administrators throughout the district as technology becomes increasingly more prevalent in classrooms. As such, we encourage all stakeholders to gain a broader understanding of digital citizenship through Common Sense resources, by studying topics that include:
- Creating, connecting, and safely and responsibly exploring the Internet;
- Safeguarding from cyberbullying and maintaining privacy;
- Developing relationships and understanding online communication;
- Understanding the importance of copyright and the concept of creative credit; and
- Evaluating the validity of online information (Information Literacy).
