Mental Health
Burlingame School District's Mental Health and Wellness Program offers prevention and support services to help students manage and overcome social and emotional challenges that may affect their academic performance, attendance and behavior.
In a safe and supportive setting, students can meet with Wellness Counselors to talk openly about a wide range of concerns, including stress, trauma, depression, bullying, grief, self-esteem, family relationships, substance use, identity, and LGBTQ+ topics. Through these services, students develop positive, lifelong skills and habits that promote personal well-being and long-term success.
